PRIMEROS CONTRATOS FIRMADOS DE OBRA INTERNACIONAL

La empresa VICSAN, durante el mes de julio ha firmado los contratos para sus dos primeras obras internacionales: 

- La construcción de un centro de convenciones en NIGERIA de 5M€. 
- La construcción de un centro comercial en ARABIA SAUDI de 14 M€.

Durante el mes de septiembre está previsto el inicio de ambas obras. 

The company VICSAN, during July has signed the contracts for his first two international works:

- The construction of a center of conventions in NIGERIA of 5M €. 

- The construction of a mall in SAUDI ARABIA of 14 M €. 

During the month of September it is foreseen the beginning of both works.

FINALIZAN LAS OBRAS DE LA AVENIDA GENERALITAT. COMA-RUGA

Finalizan las obras de la Avenida Generalitat, en Coma-Ruga, efectuadas por la empresa Aigües de Tomovi. VICSAN ha participado en las tareas de obra civil y pavimentación. El día 8 de abril de 2011, tanto el tráfico rodado como el de peatones pudieron disfrutar sin restricciones de la nueva infraestructura, eje vertebrador clave de Coma-Ruga. Entre las principales mejoras cabe destacar la nueva jardinería, el ensanchamiento y pavimentación de las aceras, la renovación del mobiliario y señalización, así como la reforma de las redes de agua potable, alcantarillado, pluviales, telefonía y alumbrado público. 

Dentro del ámbito compartido competencialmente entre el Ayuntamiento de El Vendrell y el Ministerio de Fomento, el día 14 de abril de 2011 VICSAN finalizó las obras de la unidad de actuación UA 37 así como el desvio de la carretera N-340 necesario para darle acceso. Esta obra ha estado promovida por la empresa privada Lindos Vendrell, la cual está interesada en que la infraestructura permita la instalación de otras empresas que dinamicen el municipio. Entre las opciones de futuro del área se entrevé la instalación de equipamientos comerciales y turísticos.

Work has been completed on Avinguda Generalitat, in Coma-Ruga, by the Aigües de Tomoví company. VICSAN took part in the civil engineering and paving work. On 8 April 2011, both vehicle and pedestrian traffic were afforded unrestricted enjoyment of the new infrastructure, the key transit link in Coma-Ruga. The principal improvements include the new landscaping, widening and paving of the pavements, the renewal of the street furniture and signposting and the complete renovation of the drinking water, sewerage, storm drain, telephone and public lighting networks.

As part of a shared initiative between El Vendrell Town Council and the Ministry of Public Works, on 14 April 2011, VICSAN completed the work on the UA 37 action unit and the diversion of the N-340 main road needed to provide access to it. This project was promoted by the Lindos Vendrell private company, which is interested in the infrastructure enabling companies to set up there that drive the town forward. Future options for this area include the planned installation of commercial and tourism facilities. 

INAGURACIÓN DE LA NUEVA PISCINA DESCUBIERTA MUNICIPAL DE TORREDEMBARRA

El sábado 26 de marzo tuvo lugar el acto de inaguración de la nueva piscina descubierta municipal de Torredembarra.

La obra ha estado promovida por el Ayuntamiento de Torredembarra y financiada por el fondo estatal para el empleo y la sostenibilidad local del Ministerio de Política Territorial del Gobierno de España con un presupuesto de casi un millón y medio de euros. 

 Vicsan Torredembarra, S.A. ha dado de alta un total de setenta y siete personas de nueva contratación y mayoritariamente a vecinos del pueblo,durante el periodo de tiempo marcado en el concurso.

Saturday 26 March saw the opening ceremony of the new municipal open-air swimming pool in Torredembarra.
The project was promoted by Torredembarra Town Council and financed with the state fund for local employment and sustainability of the Spanish Ministry for Regional Policy with a budget of almost one and a half million euros.
During the time set out in the rules of the tender to contract, Vicsan Torredembarra, S.A. hired a total of seventy-seven people, the majority of them from the town.

INAGURACIÓN DEL PABELLÓN POLIGONAL Y PISTAS DE DEPORTE DE RAQUETA EN EL VENDRELL

Inaguración del pabellón poligonal para actividades deportivas del Ayuntamiento de El Vendrell, el pasado 26 de marzo.

Obres financiadas por el fondo estatal para el empleo y la sostenibilidad local del Ministerio de Política Territorial del Gobierno de España con un presupuesto de doscientos sesenta y cuatro mil euros el pabellón y de ciento treinta y cinco mil euros el de las pistas de deporte de raqueta.

Opening of the El Vendrell Town Council sports centre on 26 March.

Project financed with the state fund for local employment and sustainability of the Spanish Ministry for Regional Policy with a budget of two hundred and sixty-four thousand euros for the sports centre and one hundred and thirty-five thousand euros for the racquet sports courts.

COMIENZO DE LAS OBRAS DEL MERCADO CENTRAL DE TARRAGONA

A finales del mes de Marzo de 2011 se iniciaran las obras de rehabilitación del Mercado Central de Tarragona y su entorno. El ambicioso proyecto consta de cuatro plantas subterráneas, urbanización de los viales y plazas del entorno, así como la rehabilitación del histórico edificio del Mercado, construido a principio del siglo XX. 

  

El presupuesto de las obras es de aproximadamente 27 M€ y la adjudicataria es una unión temporal de empresas formada por VICSAN TORREDEMBARRA (35%) y CORSAN CORVIAM (65%).

In late March 2011, will start the rehabilitation of the Central Market of Tarragona and its surroundings. The ambitious project consists of four underground levels, urbanization of the roads and squares of the environment as well as the rehabilitation of the historic Market building, built in the early twentieth century.

The budget of the works is approximately 27 M € and the contractor is a consortium formed by VICSAN TORREDEMBARRA (35%) and CORSAN Corviam (65%).

NUEVA SEDE CENTRAL DE ACTIVA MUTUA 2008

A finales de diciembre del 2010,  finalizamos las obras de la nueva sede de servicios centrales de ACTIVA MUTUA 2008 situada en el parque tecnológico Tecnoparc de Reus.
El edificio está construido sobre una parcela de 4.500 metros cuadrados y se distribuyen en planta subterránea de aparcamiento, planta baja, primera planta y segunda, con un total de 6.500 metros cuadrados construidos.

El proyecto del arquitecto Carles Espinós Olivé, se ha realizado en 17 meses de ejecución de obra. 

El edificio acogerá inicialmente a un centenar de profesionales.

At the end of December 2010 we completed work on the new central services offices of ACTIVA MUTUA 2008, located in the Tecnoparc technology park in Reus.
The building is constructed on a plot covering 4,500 square metres and is divided into an underground car park, ground floor, first floor and second floor, with a total constructed area of 6,500 square metres.
The project by architect Carles Espinós Olivé took 17 months of construction work.
The building will initially house some one hundred professionals.

CEIP MARE DE DÉU DE MONTSERRAT. PREMIÀ DE MAR

Este mes de enero se han iniciado las obras de reforma y ampliación del CEIP Mare de Déu de Montserrat de la localidad de Premià de Mar en el Maresme.
Las obras tendrán un plazo de ejecución de catorce mese con un presupuesto aproximado de 4,157 MM €.

January saw the start of the refurbishment and extension work on the CEIP Mare de Déu de Montserrat primary school in the town of Premià de Mar in the Maresme area.
The work is scheduled for completion in fourteen months with an approximate budget of € 4,157 MM.

INAGURACIÓN DE LA NUEVA ESCUELA GUARDERIA DE LA BISBAL DEL PENEDÉS

El pasado Domingo 12 de Diciembre de 2010 el consejero de Gobernación y Administraciones Públicas en funciones, Jordi Ausàs Coll, acompañado del alcalde de la Bisbal del Penedés, Josep Mª Puigibet Mestre y su equipo de gobierno, de Francesc Tarragona Baró, director de los Servicios Territoriales de Gobernación en Tarragona y del Dr. Martí Boada i Juncà, Geógrafo, naturalista y doctor en Ciencias Ambientales, inauguraron la nueva escuela guardería de la Bisbal del Penedés.

En la construcción del edificio se han tenido en cuenta criterios de integración en el entorno, de sostenibilidad i de eficiencia energética. Cuenta con instalaciones de energía solar fotovoltaica, climatización y agua caliente por energía geotérmica y sistemas de iluminación de muy bajo consumo.En una segunda fase se quiere llegar a la autosuficiencia energética. Las instalaciones están diseñadas para una capacidad de unos setenta niños.

On Sunday 12 December 2010, the acting Minister for Government and Public Administrations, Jordi Ausàs Coll, accompanied by the Mayor of La Bisbal del Penedés, Josep Mª Puigibet Mestre, and his government team of Francesc Tarragona Baró, Director of Regional Government Services in Tarragona, and Dr Martí Boada i Juncà, Geographer, Naturalist and a Doctor of Environmental Sciences, opened the new La Bisbal del Penedés Nursery School.
The construction of the building embraced criteria of integration with the surroundings, sustainability and energy efficiency. The building incorporates photovoltaic solar energy installations, climate control and hot water heated by geothermal energy and very low-energy lighting systems. During a second building phase, the aim is to make it energy self-sufficient. The facility has been designed to hold up to seventy children. 

INICIADAS LAS OBRAS DE LA PANTALLA VEGETAL DEL ESPACIO DE TABACALERA EN TARRAGONA

Iniciadas las obras del espacio Tabacalera. Se trata de un proyecto que transformará el actual entorno en un espacio verde y con un ciclo cerrado de agua; está basado en la utilitzación de herramientas sostenibles y tecnológicamente muy avanzadas. Se utilizarán la jardineria, el agua y la urbanización sostenible.

Habrán dos actuaciones en una única: la construcción de una fachada verde vertical de casi 185 metros de longitud por 18 metros de altura y una superfície verde de unos 2800 m2, y la creación de un parque publico de 3200 m2, que sumados a los anteriores supone la creación de un espacio verde de 6000 m2.

Work has started on the Espai Tabacalera. This is a project that will turn the present surroundings into a green area with a closed water cycle; it is based on the use of sustainable, technologically highly advanced tools: gardening, water and sustainable urban planning.

There will be two actions in one: the building of a vertical green façade almost 185 metres long and 18 metres high, with a green surface area of some 2,800 m² and the creation of a public park of 3,200 m², which, added to the previous areas, adds up to the creation of a large green area of 6,000 m² in a limited space.

INICIADAS LAS OBRAS DE LA PISCINA MUNICIPAL DE TORREDEMBARRA

A mediados de verano dieron comienzo las obras de construcción de la piscina Municipal descubierta situada en la zona deportiva de Torredembarra. La obra está promovida por el Ayuntamiento de Torredembarra y enmarcada en el "Fondo Estatal para el empleo y la Sostenibilidad Local", del Ministerio de Política Territorial.

El conjunto de piscina y sus vestidores asociados, de planta rectangular, se sitúan al lado del pabellón Deportivo y en paralelo a el, y se plantean como una edificación únicamente de planta baja.

Por debajo del rasante se construye la planta -1 en el subterraneo que abarca todo el recinto, en la que se situan los espacios fundamentales para los elementos funcionales y los necesarios para el registro y mantenimiento del vaso, incluida la rampa de acceso rodado desde la superfície. La obra, financiada por el Gobierno de España, contempla la contratación de setenta y siete operarios provenientes del Servicio de Prestación por Desempleo.

INAGURACIÓN DE LA AMPLIACIÓN DE URGENCIAS DEL HOSPITAL JOAN XXIII

El pasado 20 de septiembre la Consejera de Salud, Marina Geli, acompañada del alcalde de Tarragona, Josep Félix Ballesteros, inaguró la ampliación del servicio de urgencias del hospital Joan XXIII de Tarragona.

El proyecto se basa en la ampliación del Hospital Joan XXIII con la construcción de un nuevo edificio, adosado a los existentes en la cara este, de planta baja y tres plantas más y una planta con subterraneo.

Esta ampliación que sigue el Anteproyecto Plan Director del Hospital, representa una ampliación de superficies para los servicios que actualment lo necesiten, como es el caso de la unidad de urgencias, así como la construcción de la nueva superfície para albergar y renovar programas que actualmente se encuentran ubicados en otros lugares del conjunto. 

On the past 20 September, the Minister for Health, Marina Geli, along with the Mayor of Tarragona, Josep Fèlix Ballesteros, opened the new wing of the hospital Joan XXIII emergencies section in Tarragona.

The project is based on the extension of the Hospital Joan XXIII with a new building adjacent to those on the east side, consisting of a ground floor and three storeys plus a basement.

This extension, which forms part of the Preliminary Project of the Hospital Steering Plan, is an extension of the area for the services currently in need, as is the case of the Emergencies Unit, and the building of a new area to house and renovate programmes currently in other places of the complex.

INAGURACIÓN DE LA PISCINA MUNICIPAL DE TORREFORTA, RIUCLAR I ICOMAR

Durante el mes deJulio tendrá lugar en Tarragona la inauguración de la Piscina Municipal de Torreforta, Riuclar y Icomar, obra promovida por el Ayuntamiento de Tarragona, correspondiente al "Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local" del año 2009, con una inversión de 3.690.173 €, en la que Vicsan Torredembarra, S.A. ha participado en un 75% en la UTE Vicsan-Servial.

Como principales características de la obra, podemos hablar de una superfície construida de 3213,37 m2. Dos pistas de padel en la cubierta, dos piscinas de 25 y 12 metros y aforo para 299 personas.

July will see the inauguration in Tarragona of the Torreforta, Riuclar and Icomar Municipal Swimming Pool, a project promoted by Tarragona City Council, financed by the 2009 "Local Investment State Fund", with an investment of € 3,90,173 in which Vicsan Torredembarra, S.A. had a 75% interest in the Vicsan-Servial temporary business alliance.

Its main features include a constructed surface area of 3,213.37 m2.
Two indoor paddle tennis courts, and two 25 and 12 metre swimming pools, with a capacity for 299 people.

INAGURACIÓN DE LA ESCUELA DE MÚSICA DEL VENDRELL

El pasado 21 de junio un concierto de los diversos conjuntos de la Escuela de Música Pau Casals del Vendrell, presidido por el consejero de Educación de la Generalitat, Ernest Maragall, ha servido para inaugurar el nuevo edificio del centro. Las nuevas instalaciones de la escuela estan situadas en el antiguo cine Tívoli del Vendrell.

Después de tres años de obras, el nuevo centro tiene una superfície de más de 3.200 metros cuadrados. El edificio consta de 5 plantas: subterranio, planta baja, planta 1a, planta 2a i ático.

En las cinco plantas se han distribuido el Auditorio, otro Auditorio más pequeño, una sala polivalente, biblioteca, aulas, camerinos, despachos, recepción y servicios.

A concert was held on 21 June by the different music groups at the Pau Casals School of Music in El Vendrell, hosted by the Government of Catalonia's Minister for Education, Ernest Maragall, to mark the inauguration of the school's new building. The new facilities at the school are located in the former Tívoli cinema in El Vendrell.

Following three years of restoration work, the new centre has an area of over 3,200 square metres. The building covers 5 floors: basement, ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and the attic.

These five floors house the Auditorium, a smaller auditorium, a multipurpose hall, library, classrooms, dressing rooms, offices, reception and services. 

CONSTRUCCIÓN DE UNA VIA DE SERVICIO DE 600M PARALELA A LA N340 EN EL MUNICIPIO DEL VENDRELL

En verano de 2010 está prevista el inicio de las obras para la construcción de una vía de servicio de 600 m de longitud paralela a la carretera N-340 en el municipio de El Vendrell ( Tarragona ), en el marco de la urbanización del Polígono Industrial de Els Masets.

La obra se realizará prácticamente sin impedimentos para el normal discurrir del tráfico en dicha vía de tan alta capacidad.

Work is scheduled to begin in summer 2010 on the construction of a 600-m service road, parallel to the N-340 national road in the municipality of El Vendrell (Tarragona), within the urban development framework of the Els Masets Industrial estate.

Work will be carried out with practically no disruption to normal traffic flow on such a high capacity road as this.

CONSTRUCCIÓN DE UNA NAVE DE ALMACENAJE DE GRANO EN EL PUERTO DE TARRAGONA

Por encargo de la empresa BERGÉ MARITIMA, se está ejecutando la construcción de una Nave para almacenamiento de grano de 3.600 m2 en el Puerto de Tarragona.
Las obras se desarrollan en el plazo previsto y la finalización se prevé para Noviembre del año 2010.

The BERGÉ MARITIMA company has commissioned the construction of a 3,600 m2 grain storage warehouse in the Port of Tarragona.
Work will be carried out within the scheduled timescale and completion is set for November 2010.

CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL APARCAMIENTO JOAN XXIII Y URBANIZACIÓN DEL ENTORNO DE LAS EDIFICACIONES

VICSAN TORREDEMBARRA iniciará en el mes julio de 2010 las obras de construcción de un aparcamiento de 450 plazas adyacente al Hospital Joan XXIII de Tarragona así como las obras de reforma de la urbanización del entorno de las edificaciones de todo el Hospital.
La explotación del aparcamiento será bajo régimen de concesión durante 25 años.

July 2010 will see VICSAN TORREDEMBARRA begin construction work on a 450-space car park adjacent to the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona, as well as urban development renovation work on the area surrounding the entire Hospital buildings.
Use of the car park will be under a 25-year concession system.

PATROCINIO 150 ANIVERSARIO DE LA FORMACIÓN DEL CUERPO DE BOMBEROS DE TARRAGONA

VICSAN Torredembarra colabora con los actos conmemorativos del 150 aniversario de la formación del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Tarragona, los cuales tendrán lugar a lo largo de este año y principios del próximo.

Para celebrar los 150 años de vida de este cuerpo, desde la asociación de actividades lúdicas del Parque de Bomberos de Tarragona se realizarán diferentes actividades de tipo cultural y deportivo, además de acciones duraderas como la edición de un libro en el cual se recogerá la historia del cuerpo o la creación de una página web, en la que se dará difusión a los acontecimientos propios de esta efeméride.

VICSAN Torredembarra collaborates with the commemorative acts of the 150th anniversary of the formation of the Fire Brigade in Tarragona, which will take place during this current year and the beginning of next year.

To celebrate the 150 years of  existence of this corps, from the association of recreacional activities of the Tarragona Fire  station, different cultural and Sports events will take place, as well as lasting activities such as the publishing of a book on the history of the corps or the creation of a web page where their very own experiences will be widely broadcast.

PATROCINIO DE LA CANDIDATURA DE TARRAGONA A LOS XVIII JUEGOS MEDITERRÁNEOS

VICSAN Torredembarra colabora con la asociación Tarragona 2017, que tiene como objetivo impulsar la candidatura de la Ciudad de Tarragona, como Sede para la Celebración de los XVlll Juegos Mediterráneos en su edición del año 2017.

Con la firma del convenio por parte del Director General de la Constructora, Jordi Virgili Olivé, VICSAN ha pasado a ser miembro del CLUB ORO TARRACO 2017, en el cual, solamente un reducido número de empresas, forman parte como principales patrocinadores de ésta candidatura.

La asamblea General del Comité Olímpico Español, ha reconocido el esfuerzo realizado por la candidatura Tarraconense, designándola como única candidata Española a los Juegos Mediterráneos de 2017.

El siguiente paso se centrará en la promoción internacional y en la redacción del proyecto que presentará al Comité Internacional de los Juegos Mediterráneos.

VICSAN Torredembarra collaborates with the  Tarragona Association 2017, that aims at promoting the candidacy of the Town of Tarragona as the venue for the celebration of the XVlll Juegos Mediterráneos (Mediterranean Games) in the year 2017.
On signing the agreement the Managing Director-General of the Construction Company, Jordi Virgili Olivé, VICSAN has become a member of the  CLUB ORO TARRACO 2017, in which only a reduced number of  companies form part as principal sponsers of this candidacy.
The General Assembly of the Spanish Olympic Committee has recognised the effort carried out by the candidacy of Tarragona, designating them as the only Spanish Candidate for the Juegos Mediterráneos de 2017.
The following step will centre on international promotion and drawing up of the project that the international committee of the Juegos Mediterraneos will present.  

VICSAN CONSTRUCTORA COLOCA LA PRIMERA PIEDRA DE LA OBRA DE 'LAS CENT ESCALES' DE TARRAGONA

Tarragona sustituirá con escaleras mecánicas las llamadas 'Cent Escales'. El coste de las obras, que irá a cargo del Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local, es de 2,3 millones de euros.

Las obras darán trabajo a 40 personas, 27 de plantilla y 13 en paro.
El arquitecto de la obra -que realizará la empresa Vicsan- Eloi Balcells, explicó que, además de la mejora de la movilidad en la zona, el proyecto también contempla un mirador a la altura del carrer Zamenhoff. Desde allí partirá el primer tramo de escaleras de subida y bajada.

Los dos últimos tramos nacen de la zona donde hoy se encuentra una pequeña plaza bastante degradada.
En definitiva, se salvarán los 18 metros que separan las calles Vapor y Zamenhoff.

Tarragona will substitute the so-called 'Cent Escales' with escalators. The cost of the works, that will be responsibility of the Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local, (State funds for local investment) is 2.3 million euros.
The works will give work to 40 people, 27 on the staff and 13 on the dole.

The architect of these works  that will be carried out by the Vicsan company- Eloi Balcells . expliained that, besides improving mobility in the area, the project also contemplates a view point at carrer Zamenhoff. The first stretch of the escalator to ascend or descend will begin here.

The last two stretches will start at the area where at present there is a rather neglected square.
The 18 metres that separate the Vapor and Zamenhoff streets will definitely be saved.

CINCO EMPRESAS DEL SECTOR DE OBRAS PÚBLICAS CREAN QUATUOR INFRASTRUCTURAS Y CONCESIONES

Cinco constructoras catalanas -Àrids Romà, Emcofa, Excover, Rubau Tarrès y Vicsan Constructora- han formado la compañía Quatuor Infraestructuras y Concesiones en un intento de aumentar sus posibilidades de éxito en los concursos de obras públicas en Cataluña. 'Por separado no podíamos hacer frente a esos proyectos', explicó ayer el presidente rotatorio del nuevo grupo, José Pablo Rodríguez-Marín.

'Esperamos que en adelante haya más licitación' , añadió el presidente. Las empresas de Quatuor 'nos complementamos geográfica y sectorialmente', enfatizó. Al margen de esta colaboración, las cinco compañías matriz continuarán funcionando de manera independiente.

Five Catalonian Construction companies -Àrids Romà, Emcofa, Excover, Rubau Tarrès and Vicsan Constructora- have created the Quatuor Infraestructuras y Concesiones Company in an effort to augment their possibilities of success in the contesting of public works in Catalonia. 'Separately we cannot handle these projects', the president of the new Group, José Pablo Rodríguez-Marín explained yesterday.

'We hope there will be more tenders in the future', added the president. The Quatuor Companies 'complement each other geographically and sectorially', he emphasized. Outside this collaboration, the five matrix companies will continue to function independently.
